Empowering vulnerable sections of society primarily women is the motto at Cosmo Foundation. We facilitate education, skill development, livelihood support training on safety, mentorship, and exposure. It helps build leadership, self-confidence, and self-reliance and promotes equity.
- Cosmo Nari Swayampurna Programme: Skilling and Livelihood support programs for tribal women.

Cosmo Nari Swyampurana Program
Cosmo Foundation has partnered with women’s self-help groups in tribal district Chhindwara of MP, which aims to provide livelihood support to tribal women in seven blocks of Chhindwara District. Cosmo Foundation has provided production units for Paper plate-cup making, Agarbatti making, chironji making, millet processing units, mushroom dryers, sewing, and embroidery machines. 1000+ women are engaged in this program and women are earning 15,000 to 35,000 per month.
Nari Ki Savari – Two Wheeler and Four-Wheeler Driving Course
Cosmo Foundation partnered with Shri Maharani Chimnabai Stree Udyogalaya, Vadodara which is one of the oldest women's vocational centers set up by the royal Gaekwad family of Vadodara in the country, focusing on women’s upliftment and empowerment. We have partnered for a course – 'Nari ki Savari' to train women drivers, and to create employment opportunities for women in the non-conventional sector with dignity. In addition, training on grooming, self-defense, traffic rules, and personal safety is organized. 20 women benefitted through this course.
EV Technician Course
Cosmo Foundation in collaboration with Jalandhar Marketing and ISIE India organised EV technician course for women. It is a two-month course with NSDC certification and also covers soft skill training with technical courses. 80 women are trained and employed in EV companies in Chatrapati Sambhaji nagar, Maharashtra.
Udayan Shalini Fellowship – Scholarship and Mentorship
Cosmo Foundation has partnered with Udayan Care for the past 5 years and implemented Cosmo Udyan Shalini Fellowship Program. 40 aspiring rural girls from most needy rural families of farm labours, auto drivers, barbers, and like-wise selected from Cosmo-affiliated villages of Gangapur block of Aurangabad District. The program provides scholarship, mentorship, and exposure to these Shalini and empowers them to pursue higher education and employability. It enables girls to unlock their potential through meticulously designed workshops on communication and career awareness, English and Digital Skill Building, Financial Literacy, and marketing along with wellness and personality development. Senior employees of Cosmo First and their family members mentor these Shalini and help them to build and nurture their aspirations. The girls have not only achieved significant milestones in their respective academic disciplines but have also excelled in various social, educational, and technical domains. Many of these Shalini are preparing for competitive exams to join the Banking sector, Police, and Army, as they strive to make a significant impact in nation-building.
Life Skill Education – Empowering Rural Girls
Soft skills are key to success. Cosmo Foundation has partnered with IMPA and Core Teamwork and launched a project “Ummed ki Kiran” which aims to equip young rural girls with essential skills for personal and professional growth. Around 1200 girls have benefitted from rural Gujarat and Maharashtra. Training is conducted on hybrid mode and includes subjects like self-care & personal wellness, effective communication, etiquette, and behaviour, leadership and teamwork, financial literacy etc.
Cosmo E Gyan Seva Station
The digital divide that exists between urban and rural areas has become more glaring during the pandemic as the need for going online increased exponentially. Cosmo Foundation has started Cosmo e-Gyan Seva Stations in Kothav and Handod villages of Karajan Taluka intending to provide free digital services to the rural villagers at their doorsteps. It provides access to E-services free of cost to villagers like name and address change in PAN Card, Adhar card, E-shram card registration, E-KYC, registration on the farmers portal, applications for scholarships and admission, etc. Various educational services are also provided. It gives basic entitlements to rural communities.
